Cheese and Wine at Rosie's. Long term volunteer and employed Volunteer Co-ordinator, Rosie Barnfield raised a grand total of £32.95 from organising a cheese and wine evening!!! On the 10th October 2008, volunteers and Diggin it supporters thoroughly enjoyed the finest Yarg and the best rouge at Rosie's cosy house. Well done Rosie!Athletic Volunteers! Ian Rogers volunteered for Diggin It in spring 2008 and over the summer managed to raise a whopping £200 for the project by getting sponsorship for running the Plymouth Marathon! The money will be going towards a nature related activity or equipment, possibly bird box cameras in the spring. Well done Ian!

In 2009 YGS Landscapes very kindly sponsored Diggin' It! by providing them with embroidered polo shirts. We would like to thank them for their support.
We were also very lucky to receive a generous donation from Warburtons towards our Summer Open Day. The donation provided a number of activities for families. They also provided a large quantity of bread for us to serve with soup, and give away at our Halloween Event. Thanks for their continued support.
Diggin’ It has received a great deal of media interest, from BBC television, BBC Radio Devon, Plymouth Sound, Western Morning News and The Evening Herald. We are regularly requested to give live and recorded interviews, and have filmed the project throughout for documentation purposes. Support from organisations can be acknowledged in a variety of ways, and can be discussed to best meet your needs.
