Diggin it has had three successful years and has gained some wonderful awards recognising what the project has achieved in such a short space of time. In the 2009 RHS Britain in Bloom Awards, Diggin' It was awarded an 'outstanding neighbourhood' award.
EUROPE IN BLOOM - Dr. Lucia Cikes 'Therapy Through Horticulture'

At the Croatian ceremony Diggin' It won this extremely special award - not given every year. The Lord Mayor was there to accept it on our behalf. Dr. Lucia established the award to recognise the great work of organisations working with people with learning disabilities. This fantastic lady looked after large groups of people with lerning disabilities during the Bosnian war and troubles of the 90's.

The beautiful plaque above was awarded at the beginning of March by Planting Places initiated by Sustainability South West. This acknowledges Diggin It as an Urban Greenspace Champion - one of 10 in the South West! The award is made from Cornish tin and English oak.

In addition to this we were finalists in the Evening Herald Business Enterprise Awards for Social Enterprise, being pipped at the post by the wonderful Music Zone!
